Very excited to announce our first gig for the newly re-formed Fox knApp!

Edgar’s wife’s nephew’s 3rd cousin on his mother’s side knows a venue owner who needs a band to fill a spot next Friday. So come on out and let’s have a party like the old days!

We’ve also heard, through the grapevine, that a promoter may be in attendance. So we’ll be playing like it’s Madison Square Garden! (Note: it’s a bit smaller than that.)

Check out all the details on our new “gigs” page, and we hope to see EVERYBODY there!

After a short [couple decades of] intermission Fox knApp is making music again!

We’ve pretty much commandeered Chad’s studio. So please come see our shows [and don’t neglect our tip jar!] as Chad has kicked all the other bands out; which also means Fox knApp is now his only job!

We’ve not quite got anything worth listening to just yet… but that is coming SOON. It’s been quite a while since we all played together and it’s been interesting to see how everyone’s playing has “matured” over time. I think our musical palette will be considerably more diverse this time around!

Chad, Blake and Edgar all have some ideas and things they’ve been working on for a while that the rest of us are getting up to speed on. There’s also several covers that have been discussed that we could put our own personal spin to.

One cover we, apparently, won’t be doing is Blake’s suggestion of Billy Joel’s “She’s Always a Woman” but substituting the words “You’ll Always be Joey to Me.”

Technically Joey did not decline to do the tune, Blake did. But that was mainly due to Joey’s insistence that the arrangement include cannons [with live ammunition] for percussion and that said cannons be pointed directly at Blake’s head.

Hey! If you have any suggestions for songs you’d like to see us perform then go fill out our snazzy new contact form!

Hey everybody! We’re getting the band back together!

After a lengthy encounter with “real life” we’ve decided that “on stage” is a much better place to be.

It’s kind of wild how it all came [back] together.

Neil and I still go on the occasional hen-house raid… which invariably ends with us reminiscing about “The good old days.”

Then, a couple weeks ago, Neil says he’s run into Chad and invited him to our next outing. Sweet!

So we all go out for exercise & dinner and in our post-prandial conversation we discover that Chad has converted his crib into a complete recording studio!

Chad said he’s been working with some of the younger, local acts. But would often wonder what it would be like if Fox knApp were to rise again.

Well that was all weeks ago now! And in the meantime we’ve reconnected with Edgar & Joey, erm, I mean Joseph [now that he’s all grown up and serious and everything] and we’ll soon be laying down some tracks in Chad’s studio.

Stay tuned for more!
